Community Investment Volunteer Application

The Community Investment Committee Volunteers are responsible for making funding recommendations, which are reported to the United Way of Randolph County Board of Directors for final approval. The funds raised during the fall campaign will be distributed to awarded programs beginning in March.

Important Dates
  • March 21, 2025 Committee training
  • April 7-18, 2025 Scheduled Site Visits and Financial Presentations
    • Visit and presentation should be no more than one hour and 25 minutes
  • May 2025 UWRC Board meeting - Allocation Decisions Final
  • May 2025 Allocation letter are mailed to partner agencies

Volunteer Agreement

If I am selected I agree to:

  • Give this opportunity my full attention and detail
  • Attend volunteer training and agency presentation meetings
  • Read and review all funding application on your own time prior to attending site visits
  • Refrain from personal bias when engaging in fund distribution recommendations
  • Refrain from voting in the event of a potential conflict of interest
  • Voice any questions, comments or concerns to their panel leader immediately
  • Keep the needs of Randolph County residents first
As a Community Investment Volunteer, I will have access to sensitive and confidential information. I will treat all information I receive through United Way of Randolph County as confidential until United Way of Randolph County has officially disclosed this information and I will not use this information for any purpose other than in performing my duties as a Community Investment Volunteer.
