The Human Race is a unique opportunity for individuals, families, and businesses to come together and raise money for their chosen 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization or school. The event features a TAC-certified 5K run and walk, starting and finishing at Bicentennial Park.
Participating nonprofits receive 75% of the funds they raise, with The Volunteer Center receiving the remainder to support ongoing community initiatives.

Collect pledges from friends, family, neighbors, and coworkers who will sponsor your run or walk for your nonprofit.
Make all checks payable to The Human Race.
Return Forms and Money!
If you're an individual or on a team not registering online, turn in your forms and funds to your team captain. Team captains and individual participants should bring all documents and collected funds to The Volunteer Center at 363 South Cox Street, Asheboro, NC on March 11th and 12th, 2025.
T-shirts will be available at The Volunteer Center when forms and funds are submitted.
Any money received on Race Day, March 15th, 2025, will go directly to The Volunteer Center.
